This was a spur of the moment video taken after a lunch and glass of wine with my friend Peter Blythe. He was showing me some samples of some opal he had mined many years ago which he still had sitting around waiting for that moment when he would finally decide to cut and polish it.
Excuse the video quality. I did not have a tripod with me and there was no monitor on the action cam so we had no idea what we had recorded until we uploaded it to the computer. The lighting is bad and there is fog in the lens but the information shared by Peter is gold.
